The Venus UM773, a mini-PC based on AMD Ryzen 7000 APUs, has been unveiled by MINISFORUM. MINISFORUM has released the Venus UM773, which is essentially a new version of the Venus UM690. For comparison, the latter is powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, a 45 W APU with eight Zen 3+ cores clocked at 4.9 GHz. In comparison, MINISFORUM has outfitted the Venus UM773 with the Ryzen 7 7735HS, which is expected to be an upgrade over the Ryzen 9 6900HX in some ways. The contrary is true, with no discernible improvements from the Ryzen 9 6900HX.

The Mini PC is a slightly improved version of the UM690, and it is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU.
The Ryzen 7 7735HS, in particular, uses the same number of Zen 3+ CPU cores as the Ryzen 9 6900HX, as well as the same Radeon 680M iGPU. However, the Ryzen 7 7735HS has a lower TDP of 10 W than the Ryzen 9 6900HX, as well as lower-clocked CPU and GPU cores. The I/O of the UM773 is also carried over from its predecessor, with four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connection, two HDMI ports, and two USB Type-C ports.
The CPU has a TDP of 35-45W and a Radeon 680M iGPU with 12 Compute Units that runs at 2200 MHz, which is 200 MHz slower than the 6900HS.
